If management were to say nothing then you and others would be on here winging about not get any sales update. The statements about whales should should not have been taken as “oh my god they are going to 100% land a whale in the near future”. It should have been taken as “oh ok, so in addition to going after single ohm installation sites, the company is pursuing larger multi site contracts, but I should be wary that those contracts take a lot of time so I shouldn’t get my expectations high at this time”.
Investors were asking “where are the large contracts” and the company response was “we are working on it, they have a frustratingly long lead time”. Ok. Fine.
What is the company doing about it? The LifX deal is one thing they are doing. If commercial sales are taking too long to ramp up then I am glad the company is looking at other options. I’d like to see a residential ohm type product.
