interesting some are exercising options when cost of purchase on market would be cheaper even using a online broker. I imagine the directors have a threshold of options they are happy to accept being exercised to keep the special dividend at 1c a share. I imagine if there is a shortfall of this amount the special dividend may increase in value and if there is a overflow from this amount the rate may get adjusted downwards. It will all depend on how many shares are on issue at the time of payment... Glad to see a few extra dollars come into the fund which will go into further units for the group.
