Taking comfort of not participating in the right issue last year. Thought it just doesn't make sense to keep issuing share and running it down. The risk and reward just doesn't add.
Feel better to think that Ezcorp and the underwriter are staring down with 10s mil of paper loss. I want to see how they are going to explain this to their own stakeholders.
Ezcorp management is getting some heat from analysts about holding onto this sinkhole instead of deploying capital into higher growth and profitable area like South America.
They have already wrote down the value to 32c per share. They will get some serious questioning in the coming quarter with another 10s of million paper loss.
Don't even bother looking into this unless 15c or below. Just not worth the risk with their long and bad track record.
You can see why they don't even publish analyst report anymore. MUST HAVE A SELL CALL!
