I’ve invested a company that bought shares on market rather than issue new shares. These shares were then used for directors bonuses etc. The mentality that they had is lacking with what I’ve seen everywhere else. These shares aren’t free so why not use cash that the company is generating given it’s not a pre revenue company and respect shareholders. It’s the old adage nothing’s free. The same as I recognise that this consultant isn’t free and needs to be paid but not by the equal of printing money to deflate its value.
