Only a guess, but a few more months is possible.
I'd say we are 2 months into a manipulation event and the last significant one I noticed was 5 months long. That was ( Sept 18 to Feb 19) when the price of Ni dropped from US$7/lb to US$5/lb during a major decline in LME stock. It was counterintuitive, but it lasted 5 months.
