I have been buying small parcels of EVN over the last weeks, as I thought owning a dividend paying gold miner was a sensible defensive move to get through the coming dislocation, which I think is probably imminent. I was obviously a bit premature. My read on todays action is large institutions have the same idea that I had and have shorted the mid cap goldies and picked up great quatities of these desirable shares. This leads me to think that the big happening is very close, Christmas New Year could provide an opportune time. Just a thought.
