Agree with you totally however it was a pretty ballsy decision, given the state of BRL at the time and world coal markets at the time, for BRL management to even attempt to put forward a proposal to buy SE assets, let alone to secure such a favorable bid.
One has to wonder how many other groups of managers would have had the balls.....eh.....not many
Talleys will certainly hold them to account on the BT mining side of things.
Anyone who follows NZ politics knows that the tail(winston peters) is wagging the dog and he has a very long standing relationship with the Talleys owners.
