They then seemed strategically stuck between scaling down and getting things right and growing the business whereas at least the latest CEO commited to a proper clean out and focusing on the "brilliant basics" which even though it's quite ironic considering the history at QBE it's definitely a much better starting point than we've had before. They have so clearly gotten the basics horribly wrong for years so let's worry about that first and then build from the ground up.
