If you go back over the various announcements and presentations and value his contribution to the success of the company has added compared with what must have been a relatively modest salary needs to be compensated in such a way that he is rewarded for the intellectual capital he has invested in BRN both now and into the future.
This type of incentive scheme ensures his efforts are rewarded and ties his performance and the companies success together in a way that a simple monthly cheque would not.
