once it goes ex-dividends, it will be easier for shorter's to short as they don't have to pay the dividend.
On the flip side, the share price is doing the job anyway, but constantly falling, so maybe shortsellers will stay their attack given the constant share price declines pre - dividend.
All I know, is a decent fundmanager cannot rely on its past, it's the future that counts.
Just look at PTM, has been cheap for a long time, but PTM is a vehicle of the 90's. Constant funds outflow. And funds outflow is a killer of any long term valuation on an individual funds management business.
PPT needs to stop the rot in its fund management business.
