If last few years of global events have taught me anything it's that truth is usually not as exciting as a good story or charisma.

Hum is like that one good guy that can't get a girlfriend. If Hum were absolutely great with overall growth smashing all expections, no problem, market will see that in an instant. Hum is not that great (yet, at least), so it can't just think 'as long as we manage the business well, sp will respond', it'll take forever. A bit of charisma can help a long way, and now is the perfect time to sell the story (2 good quarters and a new CFO).

CEO and management are good at making and following the strategy and working hard, despite difficult environment, but are not great at inspiring others at all. RJ could be charismatic in person, doing all the 'intense' talks and deals and all, but I'm not seeing any charisma from interviews or the slide reading.
