Whilst the market is treating Vulcan like it is a Uranium miner today concerned about future energy demand from AI data centres; it is positive to see one of our new highly credentialed director's seeing value in taking up his full $30,000 entitlement in the SPP.
In Vulcan's most recent corporate update, it lists 'decisions on government funding approval processes' as the first key target for 2025. As Sharestock shared over the weekend, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz just visited Vulcan's facilities with the media pack in-tow publicly espousing the benefits of geothermal and domestic lithium extraction. Against this backdrop and particularly with the German election fast approaching (Feb 23, 2025), hopefully Vulcan will be notified in the next few weeks given where opinion polls currently place Scholz and they can advance the financing process & FID in the event of a change of government.
