Seems GW has taken another small swing at buying WAM on market.
At ~AUD2.05 ea the market value of his holdings is approx AUD492.4k (240,222 shares owned).
Past history seems to indicate that WAM gets to around AUD2.33 - AUD2.36 approx on average in the run up to XD divi day. The question is if it happens again. At AUD2.33 ea (based on AUD2.05 today) that is AUD0.28c capital gain or 13.66% (better than holding it for the fully franked divi for a short cycle).
So is Geoff trying to gently assure the market all is okay with the flagship WAM or is he collecting a capital gain or is he holding for a longer term or a combo of all or something else.
