Looks like market generally up today ... WAM generally down, down prices are down. Sunk to a low of AUD1.91ea today. Going to be interesting to see where this goes from here. GW has used the premium in WAM to act as a 'cheap' way to initiate takeovers.
Hopefully GW & team focus on getting WAM back up and running as being the flagship fund there is risk of sentiment contagion with his other funds in the stable. And let's face it, WGB is his other significant challenge.
Has WAM become too big to perform let along out perform.
Having said all that ... I've now dipped my toe back in the water on WAM.
