PC and the board would need to have their skates on to stitch up a lani deal between 5 Nov and the AGM. The best we could reasonably hope for is relenza stockpiling orders since 5 Nov and words of encouragement re progress towards lani or other deals.

A possibility is that big pharma are competing for lani. The director sp purchase sends a clear signal to them that none will be excluded with an AGM announcement. This might prevent an embarassing take-over offer immediately before the AGM.
