One very important thing to note however is that DCC price is dependant on Bitcoin price BUT only in the short term. Once we move to making most/all our profits off consumer products it wont have an impact because we make money off fees etc. Those fees are a percentage of the transaction value and therefore our profits are not limited by the Bitcoin price. Let me see if I understand correctly and can explain.

Say someone wants to either spend and make purchases to the value of $1000 in mintsy, send $1000 remittance etc it wont matter what the Bitcoin value is because we (presumably) will be getting a piece in % not in BTC value. So if Bitcoin is value at $1000 in this case the person will be exchanging 1BTC and 1% of 1BTC in this scenerio is $10 or 0.001BTC BUT if Bitcoin is valued at $300 and the person wanted to still spend $1000 of fiat then that person will need to send 3.33BTC and % fee in fiat is $10....or 0.033BTC.... Since all the market cares about is profit in fiat ($AUD/US) then you can clearly see that BTC price wont matter in the future?
