IMO that’s not always the case.
A tiny “less than most retail holders” purchase like this one can look like an attempt to signal positivity in an attempt to prop up a tanking SP.
I understand even directors have financial constraints and we don’t know their personal circumstances but if he was really confident and saw all the value that comes across in his passionate stage performances he would be going a bit harder at this SP.
Maybe he is waiting for the next raise, whenever that may be???
