The second half from 1 February to 31 July is traditionally MYR's worse of the two, with the snap five day lockdown in Victoria ("thanks Victorian Labor") that included Valentine's Day not good for MYR in its home state as anything ordered online from the Friday night prior would not have arrived at the gift-giver's beloved other in time. A downer for sales. No wonder MD John King calls them 'bloody lockdowns'.
