While these relatively recently appointed directors have indeed bought shares out of their own pocket, these latest announcements reflect them merely exercising deep-in-the-money options ($1.25 exercise price).
So I wouldn't get too excited about these updated Appendix 3Ys - these directors are merely accepting free money.
