It is probably more accurate to say I am an individual investor as I only invest my own money and I don’t invest on behalf of other people like institutional investors do.
I have turned out (after a few false starts) to be a better investor than I expected to be. I most certainly don’t get everything right, but I get enough right to have done rather well.
