Because I really believed that being "loyal" (as previously defined by DrT) was a pre-requisite for being a director. When directors sell their options based holdings they are creating physical market dilution that was just theoretical prior.
Insider selling is a death by a thousand cuts. Insider buying - often just one "band-aide".
As far as your other comments ... you can dig a little deeper and find the actual answers to some of your own questions/opinions.
I often post to see what the response is and I'm happy with the response today and can confidently move on.
People here are also forgetting that this is the time to question such company issues - as we have a company that listens - not bottle it up for the next AGM. So our response today will assist guide the actions of the company / BoD in the future. Better to ask and be wrong than say nothing.
