AJX is not shorting material, too exposed to a short squeeze with lowish volumes and the potential for gapping announcements. Hence it has a long history reflecting no significant short interest with just the odd day here or there.
After a day like yesterday there is bound to be the odd spooked holder caving in. Random dumps have been a feature of the price action for quite a while and with lowish volumes most of the time it is going to knock the price around like it did today. Around 500K or more than 50% of the turnover occurred in a 15 minute period. It recovered pretty well so people should not be too concerned.
Too many are fretting about these intraday moves which are random most of the time. If it getting to anyone the best advice is don't turn the PC on or login until 3PM.
