early 2016 they hired a Director of Corporate Finance based in Toronto Canada. The role will require managing a relatively new office in Toronto responsible initially for North America and Australia but eventually expanding to other countries. The Director will develop company policies and programs and plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the organization in relation to these policies and programs.
This senior executive/managerial role involves:

• Identifying  corporate strategic objectives to be achieved through the effective management of human, financial and material resources;
• Generating and managing project due diligence including establishing financial and administrative controls and overall human resources planning;
• Sourcing, maintaining and managing human resources including the selection of, and delegation of authority to, senior and middle management and staff and ensuring appropriate levels of technical expertise and resources are provided to project teams;
• Representing the company in negotiations, including principal deals and third party financings;
• Identifying potential projects and deals through existing and new contacts within the resource industry in North America, South America, Australia and Africa; and
• Reporting to the board of directors on company performance, and governance;
