Management options are given to management as part of a salary package . They are considered a benefit . They have a theoretical value when first given and that amount is included in their remuneration in the remuneration report in the Annual Report . However options have only a real value when the share price is higher than the option price . The option price is always set at a higher price than the share price when the options are given . So at 2.5 cent option price and 0.3 cent share price no options have been taken up . Options are just that , they are not an obligation .
Of course the management don't want to convert them and no one should think that they should .
However management or directors buying shares on market at the present share price would be a welcome vote of confidence in the business
