Nikopol ferroalloy smelter thought to be damaged by Russian rockets
With the city of Nikopol under attack by Russian missiles fired from Zapirizhzhia there were reports that the manganese smelter was extensively damaged.
South African smelters will also be non competitive going forward.
Eskom announces another surge in electricity tariffs
Eskom, South Africa’s largest power producer, has announced the planned increase in electricity tariffs, which could reach 40% by FY 2025 compared to the tariffs of FY 2022.
