Just wondering if anyone on these threads has been through the experience of resisting a lowball takeover offer? That is at what level can he delist the company and then what are our options as sellers?
I'm happy to hold out long term rather than cave to this guy like the instos have, unfortunately my investment was made from hard earned $$ like most of us little guys, that tends to bring emotions out, mainly anger it seems.
I have read that if there are enough individuals with 500+ shares they can prevent compulsory acquisition, is this correct? What is the number of disgruntled hold outs, can we find this out? My shares are in 1 name only but I could add 2 more parcels, wife and trust, even if they were eventually bought the cost would be minimal.
Which raises the q, of all the vultures out there in sharemarket world, surely some would have acquired a stake at .85c, by now, with the view to twist his arm later?
Happy new year to all holders!!
