Phone campaigns during takeovers are scripted, so unless the caller blundered it sounds like a deliberately misleading comment made on behalf of the bidder. This should be reported immediately to ASIC and the IBC of Pact. Even if ASIC does nothing, the IBC must be informed and take action through its lawyers. What are the IBC and its advisors doing now- have they all given up? The silence is deafening.
