Major epithermal gold mineralisation in the Baumgarten greenstone belt (Contessa) occurred in the Late Archaen (2.79 Ga). Formation of the Palaeoproterozoic Yerrida Basin (2.2 Ga), around 600 million years later, was not a gold mineralisation event though it did produce a lot of heat during the magmatism. But current drilling at Contessa is targeting Archaen Greenstones, not the Palaeoproterozoic basin rocks. So it's a tenuous comparison to Tropicana but if you run it past the spin doctors at AUZ management, they may agree with you, they may even throw in DeGrussa and Plutonic in there somewhere as well
