What makes him the best is the fact that he refused to accept his performance entitlement one year during Covid. Over the years I would have been in and out of maybe 300 cos. I have never experienced a situation where a director will not grab whatever he/she can under any circumstances - sucking off the soft underbelly of the system. What makes him the best is his results orientated and determined approach. What makes him the best is his ability to get the best out of his team and give credit where credit is due.

What makes him the best is his strategic thinking ability, to consider the options and risks along the critical path and drive strategic direction and concurrently keep mind plan B. What makes him the best is his military mind which basically revolves around the concept which says if you cannot develop and drive strategic direction as an effective leader you will become static, run around in circles and disappear up your own arsehole.

However for the most part CEO 's and directors display tendencies like you - only of persistent nuisance value.
