Oh my. Once again you display your fundamental lack of understanding. A director buying does not determine when an announcement is released - the market disclosure rules do! As others have pointed out there are black out periods prior to the release of quarterly financial data because they are known times when sensitive market information will be released.
If a director buys and then 20 days later they sign a deal with Koch they are not going to say " Gees our director bought shares, we'll need to withhold this sensitive material share price information from the market for 10 days cause he's still in blackout"! No - They'd release and it would be up to the director to demonstrate they didn't trade with insider information if ASIC came knocking.
