Often people have money tied up and need to sell one thing to fund another... I have seen it in these conglomerate things where people sold Novo to buy ARV and AUZ etc etc... or they take one pile into one trade and sell and move the lot to the next.

I usually prefer just to buy the stock in a company because if you have the capital you don't have to worry about the opt leverage. But this stock has been $2.00 before and a few quiet people expect huge things on this and have been buying a LOT

My broker did a share analysis and Pershing have bought millions and sold very few since Sep except for a few crossings.
