NutmegWS. Have you considered that he's "shelling his stake in LKE", because he NEEDS the money and has nothing to do with the company (or it's shareholders). It's all in the eye of the beholder;. Yoiu don't like it, you don't like it.
IMO, Steve has the big picture in mind and that's not a SP of 5.5 cents.
He's happy to sell some shares, he's still got 13 million, plus options, that is still going to make him a VERY rich man WHEN everything falls into place. THAT'S what Steve's seeing into the future and it's getting closer by the month.
If we want to take a look at whether or not he has "earned" it, HE has taken the company to the commencement of a DFS and waiting for the ultimate proof of the company's potential with samples going out to potential offtakers, and while that is happening having Novonix come up with the game changer.
During the last 12 months, while all of that has been happening, all lead by him, the Market Cap of the company has doubled.
So, ANY reasonable person would say that Steve has most certainly passed the pub test and there should be absolutely no criticism, or negative inference relating to the company, by him exercising his God given right to sell some of his shares now, so he can enjoy the benefits of his work while he's young and well enough and all the other issues are progressing very nicely towards his, AND OUR, ultimate rewards.
I've seen CEO's and MDs of exploration companies devote their entire lives in developing their companies but age and illness caught up with them and while their shareholders derive the benefits of their work, with high share prices, they are confined to homes and beds.
I really don't think Steve is that sort of guy, just take a look at what he's doing, he's a doer and why not also be a spender of his own money.
And as staypuff so rightly puts it, Steve's GOT A LIFE outside Lake!!!!!!
