The company would probably be worth a lot more now if they never tried to bid for TAB, never got Tripp involved or did deals with Waterhouse. They should have had all resources going into FO in the US imho. But maybe they knew that is going to take a very long time and there was only limited things they could do so thought that building AU was worthwhile.

I now see the company a bit like MSB where you have a longshot that could payoff big time but will take quite a while and there is a large chance it wont get there.
