If it makes you feel better, the spikes in shorts haven't really indicated any change in trend or imminent bad news - except for maybe the guidance downgrade in Jan.
Interesting that BPT has a spike in shorts - but not WDS. WDS is a bit harder to bully. Perhaps the spike in shorts is purely a play against PoO....
