You're right. Many holders had it in their SMSF as a juicy yield stock. Cutting out the divvy altogether was not just a slap in the face but counter productive for its market cap. I'm pissed off at the betrayal of a large no of yield SH.
one +ve sign that Yal was aware of the damage is the unusual immediate Ann by management that the cash is still there in the bank, earmarked for SH of they don't buy another mine. Yal is unlikely to purchase a having not worth the cash. A +ve response by younger LT SH will boost the sp for Babyboomers, too.
We will either get the divvy or hold an appreciating asset.
