My assumption is that this is more situational than technological. That is, I think the (likely) unique situation in QLD, regarding the laws around wastewater from CSG and the local operator with deep pockets created the opportunity to prove iBC, an opportunity that may not exist for aMES. When I say local operator, I mean that although QGC is a Shell company, it would have local management with the delegation to approve the Parkway FS.
Once the technology is proven in the real world through commercial demonstration, then I think the 'sell' will become easier. If KLPP is required to do this for aMES then, although frustrating, I don't think it necessarily diminishes the attractiveness of aMES as a technology.
