Where are you getting the claim that GSW's acquired companies are "deemed bankrupt"? You mention it twice, but I haven't seen it anywhere.
Honestly, I think GSW may have caught some COVID-19 releated tailwinds with these companies in the last Q (thus the sky-high costs). But I'm not speculating until we see the breakdown in the annual, which will probably be very interesting.
