My thoughts are the Mobvoi partnership is just a stepping stone in the companies development. Since the launch of Conneqt and everything around that, I believe that is the priority for CDX and what will "make" the company. Mobvoi want what's best for Mobvoi; the royalties CDX will receive from that partnership will likely go towards developing the big picture, which is Conneqt. For this reason, I think the partnership with the Chinese owned Mobvoi is low risk, and Conneqt is ultimately what will make or break the company.
That being said, it is stagnating the short term growth of CDX which Craig is aware of, and went above and beyond to address. I don't necessarily agree with how he did it, like others here have stated, but it seems he is aware of the noises that the shareholders are making, which is good.
