Hey now, don't pick on Kia.The reliability of the vehicle is above average, it is relatively inexpensive, has one of the best new car warranties in the industry, and has a good bit of technology for the dollar you spend compared to other makes.
As long as it's properly maintained, one can expect a new Kia to run for at least a decade. Annual repair costs for several of their models are also below the industry average. A shrewd saver that knows how to get the best value for their dollar could do worse than a Kia. Full transparency, yes, I do own a 2021 Kia Forte and like my daily driver.
