Hey now, don't pick on Kia. The reliability of the vehicle is above average, it is relatively inexpensive, has one of the best new car warranties in the industry, and has a good bit of technology for the dollar you spend compared to other makes.

As long as it's properly maintained, one can expect a new Kia to run for at least a decade. Annual repair costs for several of their models are also below the industry average. A shrewd saver that knows how to get the best value for their dollar could do worse than a Kia. Full transparency, yes, I do own a 2021 Kia Forte and like my daily driver.
