I have to disagree with you on that one. Non disclosure agreements are common and serve many purposes across many industries. One being it gives the potential client time to complete their own due diligence, and decide if the product is for them an or/ evaluate the potential for a future relationship with a company.
A NDA is not an almost guarantee of success/commercialisation/revenue.
