over the years they have spent countless hours attempting to convince people that companies are quietly working under NDA to produce a chip.

sequence of events

customer buys development kit
customer assesses the chip in their environment
customer signs an IP deal
customer then designs IP into a chip and produces a chip.
NO COMPANY can use the IP without buying a license.

sure there are companies that have used individual chips eg. Mercedes, Nviso, ANT61 etc… none of these companies have signed IP deals to mass produce their own chip.
