Sounds to me that they're maintaining the Adventurer 2 platform for the North American launch. Not sure if they'll be replacing certain chips (MediaTek) on the board and then repackaging the watch to make it North American specific? Would be interested to know who would be doing that or how. Did we purchase say 10k North American specific watches and a few thousand chips to convert Australian specific watches to North American if the demand is high? Would we ship those few thousand watches to a low cost country where the chips can be desoldered and swapped?
I still don't see any public FCC applications, so hopefully that is being worked on in the background (along with other statements / reports required for the NA market including children's privacy statements as I believe we had to suspend sales on Amazon for a few weeks with the Adventurer watch while that statement was issued).
