AKIDA 1000 chips first batch of taped out chips in November 2021.
It's been 3 and a half years since the 1000 was available and there were few if any products at that time or for some time later that could use AKIDA 1000 chips.
Then add engagement duration and initial industry reluctance to change from traditional systems.
The AKIDA 1500 chips were taped out 29th Jan'23. Just over 2 years ago. Onsor are using 1500 chips and Bascom Hunter have ordered $100k worth.
In some cases eg regulated auto Auto and health engagements/testing can be 5 years plus.
Is it really a surprise that we are where we are?
Now that the use cases for Edge products are growing rapidly so should interest in BRN products.
We should start to see partnerships emerge for GEN2/TENNs late this year or next year.
There is no 'inside run' as you say. Its just common sense given tape out dates, adoption rates and engagement timeframes.
We are not that long in the Early Adoption stage after all.
