Hi Oz - never a truer word has been written.... In fact, I would bet your above quote has been echoed in many, many Australian Companies' board rooms over the past 18 months or so....and none more so than the iron ore companies.

It would be disappointing, though understandable, if China uttered something along the lines of "why the hell should we keep capitalising Oceania based outfits when their Govts are constantly attacking us?" (or words to that effect).

China have been delivering to our economies... it is us (ie CDY) that needs to provide the reason for them to want to "step up to the plate and deliver". If we don't have what they need - why would they want to bother?
