There's no "sniffing" going on Oz. Truth is, it is still on my watchlist and I jump in occasionally to see where things are at (as I am sure Sandy is). I was excited to be in CDY - when it was about Midkine, but started losing interest when it was clear MH had her heart set on the beauty side. The mistake I made (once again) was the "Trust" factor. Would love to see you regulars regain some losses - at least in nominal terms. In real terms however, I think the effects of inflation has wiped out any remaining equity ages ago.

All the M&A games, groovy wordings and pretty, glossy booklets etc does get people's hopes up but, at the end of the day, business doesn't change and it always comes back to the basics of the numbers and supply & demand etc.

I always wonder about a couple of things: 1) Are Accountants the ideal profession to be running public companies & large businesses and, 2) Just how sophisticated are Sophisticated Investors....?
