Some good comments here for once. Logical. As mentioned below, bu Stoatgobbler and Omega Man, the initial trials had side effects of pain relief due to tumour shrinkage. I know of someone whom suffered pancreatic cancer and the pain was put as 12/10 - so a nice side effect as well as longer life to have. Not many alternatives in this space bar chemo, so I believe (IMHO) that this will succeed and be treatment not too far out. For mine CE will come before year end, as how I read it the regulatory body has approved, subject to no adverse findings in the first 20. They have seen the previous study and given the current trial is with a better, more modern chemo results are likely to be better and just as safe as they were originally. I don't count a lot of risk in this first 20 person trial (again IMHO)! Buy before the big boys start.
