....the final release of the IP is now imminent.
Once released, there will be a brief industry review period, during which time SMS will provide feedback and/or comments (if any) to the FAA – this will likely be completed within a week of the IP release. Post this review and comment period, the FAA will issue its final version of the IP. Once received, Delta Engineering (“DE” and Sandia Laboratories (“Sandia” will formally establish a testing protocol regime in order to satisfy any validation and verification requirements communicated in the final IP.
SMS has been informed that this DE and Sandia testing phase will be completed within 45 days of its commencement. The resulting data package will then be sent to the FAA for review. SMS has already provided the CVMTM sensor kits and equipment required for this testing phase to both DE and Sandia in order to materially expedite the brevity of the timeline for this testing.

So LJ74 hypothetically if I’m reading this correctly if the IP gets signed off in say 2 weeks time...all the above may only take say 3 months to complete? Or dealing with the FAA we could be minimum six months? Nine signatures with the FAA, really?? Feels like the local council we are dealing with? Any further thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
