ATH uses the term " Zinc ionophore" and it seems to be the basis of antimicrobial effect also when killing viruses and not only when killing treatment-resistant bacteria. This paper by te Velthuis et al (below) has been discussed here several times. I do not think ATH is talking so much of what Queensland has patented but rather something they can do themselves as with these coronaviruses. The paper is free.
