Big Business is evil. Anybody who doesn't know that is naive and hasn't learnt anything from history.

The point of big business is the merger in their market segment so as to reduce competition, by creating oligopolies that increase their market power. The laws enacted in the early twentieth century to stop this and break up the great oligopolies of the time have been weakened or abolished. There is absolutely nothing mysterious in this. Through oligopolies they can form tacit cartels and force prices. Most of the inflation happening now is the result of that process. This is what's meant by "business friendly regulation" and this is reversing all the gains of the twentieth century and helping to create a new era of baron-robbers, except this time they're much more careful to hide behind the corporate facades than they did at the beginning of the last century.

All this has consequences, not only for the powerless ordinary consumer, but also small and medium sized businesses who have to deal with these massively powerful entities. It requires strength and cunning. This is what the strategy of this little company is about. Give it time.
